Pediatric Pulmonologist Stead Family Department of Pediatrics
The Stead Family Department of Pediatrics seeks a pediatric pulmonologist at the rank of Associate (non track), Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor (tenure or non-tenure/clinical track). The individual selected will join the Division of Allergy/Immunology and Pulmonary Medicine to provide patient care, teaching, and consultative services as a pediatric pulmonologist.
Requirements: Must hold an MD/DO degree, or equivalent Board certified or eligible in Pediatrics, or equivalent Board certified or eligible in Pediatric Pulmonology, or equivalent License or eligible for licensure in the State of Iowa
Desirable qualifications: Clinical experience in pediatric pulmonology Experience in management of pediatric respiratory disorders including asthma, cystic fibrosis, sleep disorders Skills in flexible bronchoscopy Experience in patient-oriented research Teaching competence in pediatrics for medical students and residents Evidence of scholarly activity Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
