The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Thomas Jefferson University is seeking a second subspecialty-trained; board eligible/ certified Urogynecologist to work as a full-time clinician at the assistant or associate professor level. The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology has an innovative, unique and supportive work environment. We are recruiting a physician who values collaboration. Confidence and advanced skills in Laparoscopic/Robotic procedures are essential as we anticipate increasing clinical volume in this arena. Interest in Basic Science Research is desirable. Urogynecology services include locations in Southern New Jersey, South Philadelphia and Center City, Philadelphia.
The Department’s urogynecology practice works closely with our colleagues in the Department of Urology in collaborative efforts focused on providing outstanding, comprehensive care to women with complaints relating to pelvic floor disorders. Other services available in the practice include a Patient Navigator, a dedicated Nurse Practitioner, Department Research Coordinators and two Physical Therapists specializing in pelvic floor disorders. Other strengths include complementary specialists in: Integrative Urogynecology, GI, Colorectal Surgery, Minimally Invasive Surgery, Pelvic Pain, Behavioral Health and Global Health. Integrative Medicine represents a particularly strong and unique opportunity at Jefferson. The department boasts an outstanding training program with 23 full-time faculty and 28 residents.
