The Seton University of Texas Dell Medical School University Physician Group (SUTDMSUPG) is seeking an exceptional leader to join the Department of Women’s Health as Assistant/Associate Professor of Urology. This position will report to the chair of the Department of Women’s Health at the Dell Medical School and the Women’s Health Service Line lead for Seton Family of Hospitals. Successful candidates should be eligible for a faculty appointment, BC/BE in Urology; and fellowship trained in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery.
The Department of Women’s Health encompasses the full range of subspecialties including specialists in Academic General Obstetrics and Gynecology, Maternal Fetal Medicine, Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery, Gynecologic Oncology, and Reproductive Endocrinology collaboratively with the community.
The successful candidate will hold a joint faculty appointment in the Dell Medical School Department of Women’s Health and the Department of Surgery and Perioperative Care. They will be responsible for providing evidence-based, multidisciplinary care for women with uro-gynecologic conditions, educating the next generation of leaders in urology and female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery and contributing to investigation and discovery in the areas of urology and female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery.
