The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Westchester Medical Center, the flagship of the Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth), is seeking a Director of the Division of Urogynecology and Center for Advanced Pelvic Surgery and Medicine to be based at Westchester Medical Center, a 600-bed hospital which serves as the primary teaching affiliate for New York Medical College. We are seeking a physician at an assistant or associate professor level. The successful applicant must be Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and preferred to have advanced experience and track record or completed a fellowship in Urogynecology and pelvic medicine fellowship and be board certified in the sub-specialty. This is an outstanding opportunity for a qualified clinician to advance and build a strong and comprehensive urogynecology and advanced pelvic surgery division in a large catchment area with very few providers. She/he will be expected to providing clinical leadership across our multi-hospital system. We offer very competitive salary with outstanding benefits package. The department has a residency program in OB/GYN with 16 residents with dedicated residents to the GYN services.
The candidate will enjoy full administrative commitment and support for the establishment of an advanced and comprehensive division providing state of the art care to our patients and meet the existing and increasing clinical demand. Full clinical and administrative support will be provided to help build a world class advanced urogynecology and pelvic surgery division in collaboration with a recently expanded Gyn division, including a fellowship trained minimally invasive gynecologist and a strong Gyn Oncology division in place. The division will have ample operating room block times with easy access to a brand new dual console DaVinci Robotic XI system.
