The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.
Hospitalists are physicians whose primary focus is general medical care of the hospitalized patient. They provide 24 hour in-hospital care and can respond to our patients and their families promptly. They are familiar with key hospital personnel and can anticipate and facilitate care from admission through discharge; including interfacing with the ER, subspecialty and surgical consultants, discharge planners, social workers, clergy and our ancillary services.
The nocturnist physician will have responsibility for patient management, admissions, and consults from the Emergency Department. They will secure appropriate consultation for patients that are admitted and need specialty care, and will coordinate care with ED staff to ensure appropriate patient disposition. They may also be asked to communicate with the transfer center and evaluate potential transfers from outlying facilities in the community.
MD or DO degree
Valid CA Medical License
Board Eligible in Internal Medicine and obtain board certification within 2 years of employment
