Duke Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking a BE/BC Urogynecologist to join our growing practice in Raleigh, NC. Duke’s community-based practices in Raleigh allow our physicians to focus on meeting the clinical needs of the patient population in the fastest growing metro area in North Carolina.
Duke Urogynecology, a leader in robotic surgery for pelvic organ prolapse, is comprised of seven board certified FRMRS specialists, three fellows, two nurse practitioners, three pelvic floor therapists, and a dedicated and highly trained clinical staff. The Raleigh office has nine exam rooms and two procedure rooms and is adjacent to the Duke Raleigh Hospital campus. Selected physician will have 4.5 clinical or OR days/week. Interested candidates can participate in clinical trials through several NIH funded networks and training grants including the Pelvic Floor Disorder Network (PFDN), Lower Urinary Research Network (LURN) and KURe K12 Training Grant.
The successful candidate will have completed a fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery, be board certified/board eligible, have a demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care and have an interest in teaching. Clinical skills should include the full depth and breadth of basic and complex urogynecologic conditions. Surgical expertise should include both vaginal and abdominal approaches to pelvic organ prolapse with significant laparoscopic or robotic-assisted surgical experience.
