The new Section Chief will play a key role in the vision and growth of the female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery service (FPMRS), assist in Medical Education programs, and quality improvement as well as partner with our academic affiliates primarily the Drexel university College of Medicine
The FPMRS physicians provide the full scope of consultation services, comprehensive management of women with pelvic floor disorders, including urinary incontinence, lower urinary tract disorders, pelvic organ prolapse, and childbirth-related injuries
Utilize excellent Minimally Invasive and Robotic Surgical Skills
Although the main office will be at the flagship Reading Hospital and Medical Center, the successful candidate will develop best practices for practitioners serving women in pelvic floor and reproductive medicine for all six hospitals
Over 300 gynecologic procedures are done each month
Very large referral base of physicians and advanced practitioners refer to the service
