The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.
The purpose of this position is to function in the scrub role in the intra-operative phase of the patient's surgical experience. Posted procedures are reviewed in advance to select needed supplies, instrumentation and equipment. Intra-operative care is goal-directed and patient --centered. The Surgical Technologist functions as a surgical assistant under the direct supervision of the surgeon. As a member of Surgical Services, cleaning andrestocking of the OR's is also expected.
High School Diploma / GED
Completion and Graduated from an Accredited Surgical Tech Program
Basic Computer Skills
Basic knowledge of instrumentation
Knowledge of basic OR procedures and techniques, medical terminology and sterile technique
