Vanderbilt University, Medical Center’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is currently recruiting a Board Certified/FPMRS, Associate Professor/Professor to serve as Division Director of Urogynecology. The Division of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery is a team of physicians, fellows, nurse practitioners and nurses who specialize in caring for women with pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, fecal incontinence and other conditions affecting the pelvic floor. Surgical interventions focus on minimally invasive surgery that will include vaginal, laparoscopic and robotic surgery. Education and research are also key to the Division’s mission.
Our Division believes that a multidisciplinary approach to care is the most effective way to treat pelvic floor disorders, and work to tailor the therapies to the needs of each woman's unique circumstance. Documented experience in a leadership role in an academic environment is desirable. Academic rank and compensation are competitive and commensurate with educational background, experience, and career goals.
