We are seeking a full-time (1.0 FTE) FPMRS faculty to join the Division of Urogynecology at the University of Rochester, Rochester, NY. We are a busy academic referral practice serving the region, from Buffalo to Syracuse and down to the Pennsylvania border.
Surgical & non-surgical management of complex pelvic floor disorders
Collaborative practice with faculty from the Department of Urology & Division of Colorectal Surgery whose practices focus on pelvic floor dysfunction
Frequent collaborative cases with UR MIGS and GYN-ONC practices
Robust SNM program, including office PNE
APP support for conservative management including pessary care
No in-house call; no obstetrics or routine GYN care.
Core faculty for the FPMRS fellowship and the OB-GYN core residency program, including clinic, OR, & simulation
Faculty for residents & fellows from Family Medicine, Internal Medicine- Women’s Health Track, and Geriatrics who rotate through the clinical office
Scholarly Activity Role:
Mentor for fellowship research & educational tracks: Research, QI Science, Education
Opportunity to mentor OB-GYN resident & medical student research
Faculty will be mentored to develop a career path in research, education, QI science, or other academic niche: Established clinical, basic science, & QI research infrastructure, Robust institutional & departmental QI programs, Progressive GME environment recognized as ACGME Pursuing Excellence Innovator, etc.
