Job Summary: The Clinical Nurse Manager is a registered professional nurse proficient in the care of the acute medical/surgical patient, and is responsible for the coordination of the Emergency Department. Acts as liaison between administration, medical staff, and ER nursing staff. Must be able to effectively manage a dynamic staff. The Clinical Nurse Manager is also responsible for promoting the positive image of the facility by effectively communicating and interacting with staff, physicians, patients, families and community. Qualifications: Training and Experience:
Mandatory:
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
Management/supervisory experience in the nursing profession
Current RN License
Current BLS Provider
Current unit required certifications:
ACLS PALS CPI
Preferred:
