We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Urologist to join an established Pediatric Urologist and Nurse Practitioner in the Urology Division for Nemours Children’s Specialty Care - Jacksonville, Florida.
With office locations in Jacksonville and Fleming Island, Nemours Children’s Specialty Care provides comprehensive and specialized care in northeast Florida and areas of Georgia. Physicians practice at both the specialty care clinic and Wolfson Children’s Hospital. Florida is a no personal income tax state.
Position requirements include completion of an ABMS certified fellowship program in Pediatric Urology, Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Urology, and eligibility for unrestricted Florida medical license.
The ideal candidate is a dynamic pediatric urologist with a passion for patient- and family-centered care. This position offers the opportunity to work with pediatric anesthesiology, pediatric GI for complex bowel concerns supported by pediatric physical therapy with biofeedback, pediatric ER, and pediatric hospitalists. The clinic staff consist of a full-time nurse practitioner, full-time RN, and medical assistants. Additionally, candidates will be able to work in an office supported by central scheduling, as well as a central billing and coding system specialists. Opportunity exists for Nemours system wide involvement in research, centers of excellence, and sub-specialization based upon interest is available.
