The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is recruiting an outstanding, full-time Urogynecologist at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor to join their Division of Urogynecology & Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery. Currently, this division is comprised of 5 fellowship-trained physicians, 3 advanced practice providers and 3 fellows, with plans to add additional APPs and surgeons, given the robust clinical practice and growing patient population. Completion of a 4-year ACGME approved residency in OB-GYN and a 3-year fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery are required. Board Certification/Board Eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology and in Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery are required.
The successful applicant will contribute to the academic missions (clinical care, education and research) of the Department and the Division. Ideal candidates will have excellent interpersonal skills, experience with minimally invasive surgery and an area of focus for research/scholarly work.
