Christiana Care is looking for a Medical Assistant for the GYN practice in Concord, PA!

This newly renovated practice specializes in gynecologic care for women. We have three providers who are in the office 5 days a week. We provide a highly motivated work atmosphere with extensive room for learning from our providers on new procedures and protocols. Our Caregivers provide cross coverage as needed across Women's Health, as well as provide support in the following areas: scheduling, answering phones, taking vitals, and rooming patients. This practice provides opportunities to develop leadership skills.

Works Hours: Schedules will flex between 7:00 am - 5:00 pm.

Primary function:

• This position is responsible for delivering and maintaining quality patient care. Assist providers in the examination and treatment of patients and covering the front desk.

Education and experience requirements:

• High School Graduate or Equivalent

• A graduate of a recognized Medical Office Assistant Program or hold current Medical Assistant Certification by a national organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)

• 2 years' experience as a Medical Assistant is required; 3 years' experience is preferred

Knowledge, skill, and ability requirements:

• Ability to work remote at times

• Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures

• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Good organizational skills

• Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software
