Description Clinical Coordinator - Med/Surg (2 North) Role Summary: The Clinical Coordinator reports to the Clinical Director, directs unit personnel in care activities, controls and monitors the patient care and hospital services to meet the requirements of the accrediting agency, Federal and State agencies, and the community. Collaborates with ancillary departments to achieve patient care goals. Mentors new employees and assists with educational needs of the staff. Gathers and collates data as assigned. Assists with evaluations, coordinates schedules. Department/Unit Summary: Med/Surg - 2 North is a 30-bed unit with a Nurse Patient Ratio: 1:5-6, Self-Scheduling, Patient Population: Medical/Surgical, Cardiac, Vascular, Urology, and End of Life Care.
