Job SummaryThis advanced practitioner will evaluate the physical and psychosocial status of clients presenting for routine obstetrical and gynecological care, family planning or minor gynecological complaints by means of interview, health history, physical examination and diagnostic tests. Interprets data, develops and implements therapeutic plans. Duties will include minor procedures, educating patients, IUD insertions, Nexplanon insertions and routine annual exams. Reports to Women's Health Leadership.Job DutiesCompetencies and Skills: Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment. Demonstrated basic computer skills and able to become proficient in the use of Epic Care. Demonstrates strong analytical, strategic, and tactical planning skills. Demonstrates excellent oral and written interpersonal communication skills. Demonstrates decision-making and problem-solving skills. Demonstrates communication that supports a culture of service excellence. Education and or Experience: Graduation from a Family Nurse Practitioner program approved by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing required or Physician Assistant program. Certification from the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner required. Current Pennsylvania CRNP Prescriptive Authority. Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License required. OR Graduate of a CAAHEP approved physician assistant program eligible or certified by the National Commission for the Certification of Physician Assistant and eligible or certified by the State Board of Medicine required. Active Collaborative Agreement Maintenance of BLS Certification as required Working Conditions/Physical Demands: Work is typically performed in a clinical environment.
