The Division of Gynecologic Oncology at the University of Arizona / Banner-University Medical Center-Tucson (BUMC-T) is actively recruiting for a Gynecologic Oncologist to join our team. Banner Health has invested in growing the clinical enterprise, with a new hospital and expansion of the Cancer Center outpatient facility. UACC is an NCI Comprehensive Cancer Center with infrastructure in place to support research. Our team of 3 faculty members includes a clinically active associate professor with focus on quality care initiatives, an assistant professor, and a renowned senior physician-scientist who has also developed and leads a clinic for women at high-risk for ovarian/breast cancer. Our senior physician-scientist is also involved in the gynecologic oncology clinical trials effort. We are part of a multidisciplinary effort including radiation oncology, and gynecologic pathology with prospective tumor boards. We have supportive care and integrative medicine teams who support our team and our patients. We are seeking an individual who will help in particular with growing these three areas of expertise (minimally invasive and vaginal surgery, clinical trials and high-risk). The successful candidate will receive a faculty appointment to the University of Arizona commensurate with their credentials. Requirements and Functions:

This represents a unique opportunity for a junior or mid-level faculty member in the Division of Gynecologic Oncology, given the expertise of the faculty. The High-Risk program is an opportunity for a faculty member who is interested in genetics, risk evaluation and research. There is also an opportunity to significantly contribute to the success of our clinical trials effort. With our senior gynecologic oncologist, who has expertise in minimally invasive surgery and vaginal surgery retiring, there is an opportunity to grow in those surgical areas.
