This is an open continuous announcement; applicants will be reviewed and referred on a bi-weekly basis; the announcement will remain open until the position is filled. The first cut-off for consideration will be February 11, 2021. Work Schedule: Various Tours; 8:00am-4:30pm, 8:30am-5:00pm, some weekends and extended hours Financial Disclosure Report: Not required Duties: He/she provides professional assessment, coordination and planning of multiple health care services; acts on behalf of the Veteran to assure that necessary clinical services are received and that progress is being made. In addition, the Women's Health Clinical Coordinator provides ongoing evaluation of care management services in mammography and maternity programs. The Registered Nurse Women's Health Coordinator is responsible and accountable for the provision of direct patient care and for the delivery of quality nursing care to a culturally diverse Veteran patient population. The Registered Nurse possesses the knowledge and skills to effectively apply all aspects of the nursing process within a collaborative, interdisciplinary practice setting. This enables effective implementation of: - Health promotion and prevention practices - Management of acute and chronic illnesses - Attainment of optimal levels of functioning - Support of the patient and significant others
