The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology & Reproductive Sciences, Yale School of Medicine is seeking candidates for the position of Residency Program Director at the faculty rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor.
The Program Director will devote 50% effort to residency directorship/teaching activities and 50% to clinical activities in an OBGYN specialty (specialty is based on the specialty of the candidate recruited). The program director must have at least five years of clinical experience post residency/fellowship training that includes demonstrated experience in education. Candidates must be BC/BE by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology. Preferred qualifications: educational administrative experience, an active research program, exceptional communication/leadership skills, current certification in the specialty by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG), current medical licensure and medical staff appointment.
Residency Program Director responsibilities include: Residency program development, evaluation and accreditation; resident recruitment and selection (including the ability to attract diverse candidates); resident evaluation and supervision.
