Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Opportunity: UrogynecologistOur organization is on the lookout for Urogynecologists to join the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Science. We are interested in Board Certified or Board Eligible Physicians specializing in Obstetrics & Gynecology as well as Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. The ideal candidate will deliver consistent, compassionate, and high-quality patient-centered care tailored to individual needs.
The successful applicant will demonstrate clinical expertise through their education, training, certification, and experience. Strong interpersonal communication, leadership, and organizational skills are essential. Additionally, the candidate should embrace our teaching mission and qualify for an academic position at a prestigious medical school. A valid New York State Medical License is required or must be obtainable.
About the DepartmentAs part of our organization and the affiliated medical school, you will benefit from the resources of a major academic and research medical center. Our department handles over 6,000 deliveries annually and supports 24 residents in a four-year residency program, along with an active teaching initiative for third-year medical students. All subspecialties within OB/GYN are represented in our department.
We are specifically seeking a full-time Urogynecologist to join our team located on Long Island, New York. Our department comprises over 40 board-certified physicians, both full-time and voluntary, dedicated to serving a diverse community. With more than 2,400 deliveries each year, we also support 16 residents in a four-year residency program and provide a robust teaching program for medical students.
Key Responsibilities- Instruct medical students and residents through lectures, rounds, and clinical activities in both office and operating room settings.
- Deliver Urogynecology care, including outpatient services and surgical procedures in the hospital.
- Perform general administrative tasks, including documenting and reviewing patient charts.
- Engage in teaching, research, service, and related administrative duties, including academic advising.
- Play a significant role in training Urogynecology fellows and conducting research, with 8 residents per year totaling 32.
- Collaborate with colleagues as a vital part of the health system.
- Take advantage of the educational, research, and clinical programs offered by the affiliated medical school, recognized nationally for its excellence.

- Medical Degree from an accredited institution.
- Active New York Medical License and NYS DEA.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology and Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery.
- Successful completion of a fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery.
- Exceptional communication skills, bedside manner, and organizational abilities.

The salary range for this position is between $230,000 and $400,000, excluding bonuses, incentive compensation, or benefits. Actual salaries may vary based on factors such as experience, specialties, historical productivity, and community needs. The listed salary range pertains to full-time employment and does not encompass bonuses or benefits.
