Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJob Opportunity: UrogynecologistThe Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Science within our organization is on the lookout for skilled Urogynecologists.
We invite applications from Board Certified or Board Eligible Physicians specializing in Obstetrics & Gynecology as well as Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. The ideal candidate will deliver consistent, compassionate, and high-quality patient-centered care tailored to individual needs. Candidates should demonstrate their clinical expertise through their education, training, certification, and experience, alongside possessing strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Additionally, the successful applicant will embrace our teaching mission and qualify for an academic position at a prestigious medical school. A valid New York State Medical License is required or must be obtainable.
About Our DepartmentAs part of our organization and the affiliated medical school, we provide the advantages of a leading academic and research medical center. Our department handles over 6,000 deliveries annually and supports 24 residents in a comprehensive four-year residency program, along with an active teaching initiative for third-year medical students. All subspecialties in OB/GYN are represented within our department.
We are currently seeking a full-time Urogynecologist to join our team located on Long Island, New York. Our department comprises over 40 board-certified physicians, both full-time and voluntary, dedicated to serving a diverse community. We manage over 2,400 deliveries each year and support 16 residents in our four-year residency program, along with a robust teaching program for third-year medical students.
Key Responsibilities- Instruct medical students and residents through lectures, rounds, and clinical activities in both office and operating room settings.
- Deliver Urogynecology care, including outpatient services and surgical procedures in the hospital.
- Perform general administrative tasks, including patient chart documentation and review.
- Engage in teaching, research, service, and related administrative responsibilities, including academic advising.
- Play a significant role in training Urogynecology fellows and conducting research, with 8 residents trained annually.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues as a vital member of our health system.
- Leverage the educational, research, and clinical resources of the affiliated medical school, recognized nationally for excellence.

- Medical Degree from an accredited institution.
- Active New York Medical License and DEA registration.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology and Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery.
- Successful completion of a fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery.
- Exceptional communication skills, bedside manner, and organizational abilities.
- A strong work ethic and a commitment to a team-oriented, performance-driven environment.
- Ability to collaborate respectfully and build relationships with colleagues.
- Adaptability in a dynamic environment, with a focus on challenging norms and enhancing care delivery.
The salary range for this position is between $230,000 and $400,000, excluding bonuses, incentive compensation, or benefits.
